Sun Hup Heng Tyre Service Forms Strategic Partnership with FELCRA Bekalan & Perkhidmatan Sdn Bhd (FBPSB)

In 2017, Sun Hup Heng Tyre Service (SHH) established a strategic partnership with FELCRA Bekalan & Perkhidmatan Sdn Bhd (FBPSB) to advance the modernization of mechanized machinery and tractor repair services in line with the evolving needs of the agricultural sector.

As a key supplier of spare parts for the agriculture, tractor, and automotive sectors, SHH collaborated with FBPSB to introduce comprehensive machinery repair services aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of plantation estates. Through this partnership, the serviced machinery has been widely deployed across FELCRA-managed oil palm estates and has also been adopted by smallholders throughout the country.

The effectiveness of these services has been evident through significant increases in plantation productivity, reductions in operational costs, and improved maintenance processes both in the field and in workshops.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in supporting the national agenda for agricultural transformation towards modernization, automation, and long-term sustainability. Moreover, it serves as a successful model of cooperation between the private sector and government-linked companies (GLCs) in strengthening Malaysia’s agro-industry.

This initiative represents a progressive step forward in positioning agriculture as a modern, sustainable, and competitive sector.From a commercial perspective, it also creates a win–win situation between industry players and government subsidiaries at the national level.
